"Matter of Trust" is about Darcy and Hakeem are a good couple, but one of Darcy's old friends try to steal him. Now she is really mad at her. Darcy is still mad at her father for leaving her mom, sister, and grandmother. Matter of Trust is a good book."

Shattered by Paul Langan

"Shattered is about Darcy is miserable because her grandmother had died, her parents are yelling alot, and Hakeem isn't around alot. She is scared to tell Hakeem about Brian and her going out. Now she find out Hakeem has a new girlfriend."

Both books are part of the Bluford series.
