Join us on Wednesday, August 5, from 2:30 to 4:30 as we celebrate our summer readers and announce the results of an awesome season of reading! All rising 6-12th graders are welcome!

Computer Classes for Teens In August

Get ready for school and brush up on your computer skills @ your library! All computer classes are free and these classes are being held especially for teens. For more information please call 559-1945 and ask for the Reference Department. Class space is available for 8 participants per session. Registration is necessary, so be sure to sign up starting on the registration dates below.

Word Basics
Saturday, August 22, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Registration starts 8/8
This class introduces the basic features of Microsoft Word. You will learn how to enter and format text, change margins and line spacing, and copy and paste text. Saving and printing tips will also be discussed. Experience using the mouse and keyboard is expected.

Wednesday, August 26, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Registration starts 8/12
The new school year is here! Learn how to use Publisher's toolbars and wizards to create a personalized calendar. Just type in your classes, activities, and birthdays and you'll be on your way to an organized year! Experience using MS Word will be helpful.
