Club Anime hiatus is over!

Ms. Tama is refreshed after a brief summer break and ready to go with another Club meeting!

What is going on in September?

Saturday, Sept. 5 from 1:00-4:30 p.m.

Celebrate the new school year with Club Anime-a-thon! Hang out for three and a half hours of the Anime of your choice. Club members will provide Japanese inspired snacks.

Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

It is time for another graphic novel booktalk! Be prepared to discuss your favorite titles. The viewing selection will be “The Third: The Girl With the Blue Eye”.

Back to School Bonanza!

Join us on Wednesday, August 19, from 3-5:30 in the library's auditorium as we welcome all teens back to school and the library! We'll be watching Race to Witch Mountain starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a cabbie who gives a couple of unusual kids a ride he'll never forget. Stay until the end of the movie and we'll play a game of Disney Jeopardy! to win some cool school supplies. Light snacks will be served.

John's Island Library "Gets the Best of Both Worlds!"

Wednesday, September 2, 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the auditorium

Join us to watch Hannah Montana the Movie. We'll have a dance competition to see who's the best at the line dance for Billy Ray Cyrus's first big hit, "Achy Breaky Heart." Billy Ray is Miley's dad and costar. Rated G, 102 minutes.
