Writing Contest Winners!
The John's Island Regional Library is proud to announce the winners of the Writing Contest for Island High School Students held as part of The Charleston County Big Read. Students wrote papers on Independence vs. Love Relationships in Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. All winners are students at St. John's High School.
First Place: Shekinah Robinson
Second Place: Keyla Sadler
Third Place: Candis Brown
Copies of the winning papers can be read at
the John's Island Regional Library.
